This is a gorgeous little vintage electric guitar, commissioned by Japanese manufacturer Teisco and made by Kay in Taiwan in the late 1960s.
Very light, with ultra-low action, a super-smooth neck and a gorgeous ‘Tulip’ body in sunburst, this is a lovely example of a ‘zero-fret’ vintage guitar.
The single Japanese-made pickup is warm and bright but also takes gain beautifully, breaking up into a lovely driven tone.
The guitar has one slight crack to the scratchplate (near one of the screws) but, apart from that, it is in fantastic condition.
