Here we have a left-handed 2012 Squier Classic Vibe 50’s Telecaster in Butterscotch Blonde with upgrades! In excellent condition, this guitar has been well looked after by the original owner and is now ready to meet its next one!
A celebration of the birth of the Tele® in the early 1950s, the Classic Vibe ‘50s Telecaster creates incredible tone courtesy of the Fender-Designed alnico single-coil pickups (in this case, the Bridge pickup has been swapped for a fantastic Bareknuckle Piledriver).
Player-friendly features include a slim, comfortable “C”-shaped neck profile with an easy-playing 9.5”-radius fingerboard and narrow-tall frets, as well as a vintage-style Telecaster bridge with barrel saddles and string-through-body design. This throwback Squier model also features 1950s-inspired headstock markings, rich-looking nickel-plated hardware and a slick vintage-tint gloss neck finish for an old-school vibe.
This guitar couples vintage aesthetic with modern craftsmanship. Originally developed by Leo Fender in 1950, the 50s Telecaster had a simple design that was so effective little has changed since its inception. The Telecaster is a versatile workhorse, suitable for a variety of styles and an icon in its own right.
CLASSIC AESTHETIC, MODERN CRAFTSMANSHIP
Unusually, the Classic Vibe 50s Tele has a Pine body. Although not one of the common tone woods, Pine has been making a comeback lately as it’s plentiful and easy to machine. It has a very present yet amiable top-end characteristic, wide midrange and moderate low end, as you would expect from a Telecaster style guitar which predominantly sits at the twangy end of the tonal spectrum. The single-cutaway gives you fantastic upper fret access and the body feels slim and comfortable whether you’re sitting or standing.
C IS FOR COMFORT
The Maple, ‘C’ shape neck profile gives a supreme playing comfortability that handles double stop bends or shred scale runs in equal measure. Hefty enough for fretting chords yet slinky enough to deal with fast legato, the ‘C’ shape neck is a staple of the Squier by Fender brand for good reason. A Maple fingerboard lets your hands glide easily over the neck with precision and the comfortable 9.5-inch radius lets you play with aplomb. With 21 narrow-tall frets, you’re assured of hitting every note and the Black Dot Inlays ensure you never lose your way.
The Squier Classic Vibe 50s Tele gives you that legendary Tele twang which is highly sought after by players all over the world. Capable of handling harder rock styles as well as country, jazz and blues guitar, this guitar is a versatile machine that will serve you well in any scenario. A three-way pickup selector with Master Volume and Master Tone controls ensures that you can get a variety of sounds with a minimum of hassle.
A 3-Saddle Strings-Thru-Body Tele Bridge gives you rock-solid intonation and plenty of options for customisation, whether you want to set-up for big country bends or fast riffing and soloing. Coupled with a reliable set of Vintage-Style tuning machines this guitar upholds it’s tuning conscientiously to ensure that no matter how hard you play you can be assured of ultimate tuning stability.
The Squier Classic Vibe 50s Telecaster Left-Handed Electric Guitar in Butterscotch Blonde is an outstanding guitar at a fantastic price point, perfect for the newbie guitarist or the more seasoned musician looking for something to practice or jam with.
