Here we have a genuine one-of-a-kind guitar! This Les Paul style electric guitar was made locally using rare, vintage and valuable parts by a man who sadly passed away in 2020. Unfortunately the project was unfinished so we have completed the build and it is now available for purchase, ready to find its new home with a very lucky new owner.
It is everything that a Les Paul should be… back-breakingly heavy, smooth as butter to play and a producer of monstrous rock tones.
With a Mahogany body, Spalted Maple top and a Mahogany neck (with Maple stripes) this guitar is VERY weighty but, as a result, is absolutely packed to the brim with tone.
In particular, the exposed wiring on the pickups is one of our favourite features (both in terms of audio and visual) and the coil-tapping capability of both of the humbucking pickups gives the guitar a plethora of tonal options.
Made using vintage parts, including high-end wiring and electrical components, the love, attention and man-hours that have gone into making this guitar cannot be underestimated. The end result? A truly special and unique instrument!
As this guitar has been handmade using vintage parts, it isn’t exactly like a factory-made guitar. However, it is schematically and structurally fantastic. It isn’t used but it also isn’t new (if that makes sense!).
Due to the current lockdown in England, this item is available from our store in Exeter (Click & Collect only) or by post (at an additional cost of £75 due to excessive weight, cost of packing materials and levels of required insurance).
If postage is selected, it will be packed very carefully and sent via Parcelforce48.
If you have any questions, please contact us before purchasing either by email or phone (both on our website).
