This Hohner Professional JT-60 “Hollywood” Jaguar is a rare and interesting electric guitar indeed! It has some clever circuitry in it that allows different settings to emulate iconic guitars such as the Stratocaster, Gretsch, Rickenbacker, Les Paul and the Telecaster. There’s a whole range to choose from (see photo showing the options) but we don’t have a hard copy to supply unfortunately. It is easily accessible online though. This system is known as ATN (Active Tonal Network).

The ATN means that, rather than the usual Volume knob and two Tone knobs, all three pots are Tone controls and you can’t silence the guitar by turning any of the pots to 0. This takes a bit of getting used to but when you refer to the sheet of settings, it suddenly makes a whole lot of sense.

The Hohner JT-60 Hollywood Jaguar is designed in an offset shape to look like a Jaguar or Jazzmaster but plays like a Strat and can easily match a Mexican Stratocaster in tone. It was made in Korea by Cort in a limited run during the early 1990’s (in partnership with the legendary Alan Entwhistle who designed the ATN system).

This particular guitar is in very good all-original condition except for some minor chips/dents to the paintwork on the body (captured in photos). The back of the neck is straight and smooth and the Rosewood fingerboard is in fine condition.
