The Cort KX1Q Electric Guitar is the entry-level offering in Cort’s KX series but it certainly packs a punch and is excellent value for money. It is one of Cort’s five Superstrat models with hard rock and heavy metal orientation. These guitars are modern and solid double-cuts with carved tops, 25-1/2" scales, locking tuners and high quality electronics.
The KX1Q is a solid and double-cut guitar with mahogany back and quilted maple top. The top is bound and finished in a gloss Black Cherry. The simple yet solid bridge section features the tune-o-matic bridge with strings running through the body behind it. A pair of EMG HZ passive humbuckers is featured in the front, both with push/pull coil tap. The set-in mahogany neck has a C-contour in the back and a 24-fret rosewood fingerboard on its top.
Cort manufactures many of the guitars that are re-badged for different companies but special attention is paid to instruments with the Cort name on the headstock. For example, when was the last time you saw Abalone dot inlays on a guitar in this price range?

CONDITION:
This guitar is in great used condition with only a few minor signs of wear and use. There is one dent to the binding on the edge of the guitar, which we’ve tried to capture accurately in the photos. Apart from that, it looks, plays and sounds superb!
