Its neck joint is set-in, and it boasts a Bob Weir style neck crafted from three-piece rock maple, offering a scale length of 628mm/24¾". The fingerboard, made of ebony and bound, displays mother-of-pearl dot inlays and hosts 22 jumbo frets. Hardware details include a Gibraltar bridge with a sustain block, a Gibraltar tailpiece, Sure Grip knobs in black, and gold-coloured hardware. It has a HH pickup configuration with a Seymour Duncan Invader at the bridge and a Seymour Duncan Jeff Beck Blues Signature at the neck. The controls comprise two volumes, two tones, and a 3-way toggle pickup selector, with a ¼" mono output jack mounted on the side. Machine heads vary depending on the year of production, with Ibanez Smooth Tuner used in 1976 and Ibanez VelveTune from 1977 to 1980.
