Made in the legendary Matsumoku factory this is the much respected Thunder 1A, an early active bass that changed the way electrics functioned and added a huge tonal range at the fingertips of the player.

These were always reasonably priced and still are considering they are a vintage Japanese instrument from one of the best factories.

This one is a good honest example, it has wear and tear in keeping with its age, but is all original and fully working, no issues and holds a fabulous action. This really is great value.

This guitar is in fantastic used condition for it's age. It has only a few signs of wear or use, none of which impact on the health, playability or tone of the instrument.

Please look at the photos thoroughly as they constitute part of the product description.

All of our guitars are cleaned, electrically cleaned, setup and restrung before sale. This cost is reflected in the list price.
