Here we have a Squier by Fender Stratocaster - one of the early Bullet series which were made in 1994 in China.

The Fender Bullet was an electric guitar originally designed by John Page and manufactured and marketed by the Fender Musical Instruments Corporation. It was first introduced as a line of "student" guitars to replace the outgoing Mustang and Musicmaster models.

These mid 90's Chinese bullets are desirable and becoming collectable. One of the reasons is that they have the same standard thickness body as the American Strats. These are known to be great players and this one is no exception. This guitar is far above any standard or affinity Squier in our opinion.

It has some interesting features. For example, notice that there is no Truss Rod adjustment at the headstock. The truss rod adjustment is at the heel. Also, note that it has 22 frets and an original 8-screw single-ply pickguard.

This also has a 9.5" radius rosewood on maple neck, with 1 5/8th" nut

This has an “NC” serial number, and was made in China. These guitars were more handmade than mass produced, so the same models can be very different sounding instruments even from the same year. It is not surprising to find some incredibly sweet pickups in these 90s guitars. We thought this guitar had a crystal sound at the bridge.
